We all love of our mothers and want them to know how much we appreciate them. But planning a fun day can be hard, especially when you’re unfamiliar with the city. We’ve mapped out an entire schedule of activities so you can ensure your mom enjoys the perfect Mother’s Day in Chicago.
Breakfast and Brunch at The Kitchen
The Kitchen has many sweets available for brunch, including blueberry-oat streusel coffee cake and bourbon pecan sticky buns. For smaller meals, they have gulf shrimp hushpuppies and smoked salmon. If you are in the mood to try their breakfast menu, you can’t go wrong with buttermilk Belgian waffles and poached eggs.
